Two of our classmates have been found, and have now joined our email group: Jack Brereton lives in Cambridge, MA, and Bill Reidy is in Sioux Falls, SD. Jack and Bill, we're glad to have you with us.

 

More good news: SP is now in he final stages of readying its football field on campus. Grading has been done, and the field and stands will then be placed. Their goal is to have the Homecoming game there on October 29th, but that may change.

 

There is more good news about our class that I am not yet free to share. Through the generosity of a classmate, we will have a nice surprise for you in the next few months, I believe. More later.

 

In August, Brother James Kelly (the SP President). Terry McGarty, Pete Falloon, my cousin Ron Langell ('58), and a friend who went to Manhattan College went down to the retired Brothers home (DeLaSalle Hall) at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft to see Brother Edward Cleary (math teacher) and several other Brothers. We learned that our physics teacher, Bro. Henry Mishuk, died around last Christmas. We had a wonderful time

 

Finally, in the week before Labor Day, Tommy O'Brien and I and our wives had a fun reunion on Cape Cod. We spent the day reminiscing and laughing.
